Maybe it’s just because of my region but that chain pickerel doesn’t look much like a pickerel to me

Try another state, I think it would be awesome to make a multi challenge attempt in a place like Michigan that has such a wide variety of bodies of water (from trout streams to Great Lakes and everything in between). You could also do Virginia, which is a sleeper….great largemouth, stripers in the east, trout out west, and even muskie in some of the rivers

Respect the challenge. I should duplicate this and try to follow each species you catch in the same order (besides stripers and white perch because they're not found in WI) with a twist. No use of watercraft and I can only fish in one county. I’m certain I can catch all the above plus brook&brown trout, walleye, channel catfish, and depending on time of year sturgeon, Muskie, white sucker, red horse and shit I guess the list goes on. 11 species in a day I do not believe would be terribly difficult to achieve although I’m sure I’ve never done it because I’ve never tried. Great video.
jon the black dots on the smallie was the black spot disease. it’s in the flesh and it’s a cycle where the fish eats an infected birds feces and then gets infected and gets devoured by a bird. it’s extremely common. you can cook and still eat the fish safely.
