LAST DATE FOR LINKING PAN WITH AADHAAR SET TO BE JUNE 30
The last date for linking Permanent Account Number with Aadhaar is set to be June 30 and failure to do so will result in a double penalty of rupees 1,000 from July 1 onwards. One can do the linking process online after 4-5 days of paying the late fee. Notably, the centre had earlier extended the deadline till March 31, after which, those who link Pan and Aadhaar after March 31 and by June 30 had to pay a 500 penalty fee.
