Dry collections have many of the same storage and curation needs as other scientific collections – but they also have unique needs dealing with preservation, protection and (particularly) pests.

This Tutorial provides guidance on caring for dry collections, following Chapter 5 of the NSCF Collection Management and Conservation Manual, and in particular tackling Assignment 11 of the Collection Managements Course.
