Nice job hanging the fish
Rainbow and brown trout are not native to Wyoming. You are confusing wild fish with native fish
I wonder if this would work in southern Ontario
I like October and Nov in NY they are more aggressive here but feed on mice rats and frogs its awesome when they hit
Yes, private water makes it all seem like this is possible for anyone…
native browns in Wyoming? not native to Americas. good video none the less
Chill guys, they corrected the Brown Trout as “Wild” @4:39
The love and respect shown for the fish in this video is honestly so beautiful
Wonders never cease. lol
Mouse resembles a big bug…fish will hit damn near anything when hungry.
Brown trout aren’t native to America
I need a wool beanie like that.
Call the wambulance!!! He said native 😭. Never fear the experts are here !
Lol saying that Sheridan is special and there is probably areas as good when fishing what I'm 90% sure is private property. The public water has so much pressure around Sheridan and it's one of my least favorite places to fish in Wyoming.
I appreciate you talking about river temperature, more anglers need to carry thermometers with them!
Dude quit waxing lyrical about the beautiful environment to the camera while there's a trout dangling off your fly and at your hip in the water. Cringe video.
will be throwing a mouse and some cicada patterns on the Delaware this weekend🤙🤙🤙
Post release Mortality? So keep em and eat em. That's what being an outdoorsman is about, filling the freezer
The native brown mouse
Fantastic Mark
Trewt
I gotta try that! I bet on conventional that mouse will slay too🤔🤔🎣 awesome video love Wyoming trout vids
I love fishing for trout and salmon, also pike muskie and stripers on fly rod ,I dont own a regular rod anymore.
That was awesome.
WAY too many comments regarding his "native brown" comment…relax folks, we all know browns are native and we all know it's not a big deal lol
wait what month is it again? What are you catching them on?
👍👍👏👏💪🤝
I'd like to see actual data claiming 65F is stressful to rainbows and browns. MAYBE for brook trout, but this has not been my experience over the past 40 years in the field.
Sorry, but brown trout and rainbows are not native.
Hi, nice fishing, that first fish you caught is just a little bit bigger than the mouse fly i use during the mouse plague here in NZ! Well I exaggerate a bit, after all I am an angler. A few years ago I went fishing with an American angler on his visit to Aotearoa and we fished Lake Okataina in thre Bay of Plenty. We had a good days fishing but my American friend was getting pissed off with me telling him to put his catch back into the water as the fish were too small. He asked “how big do these fish have to be before I can keep one ?”. The regulations for that water was at that time 55cm (22 inches approx.)! He finally hooked into a decent jack and was told that he could keep that one but if he fished Lake Tarawera he would have to give it to the hatchery, he loved the fishing but to this day he swears that I was exaggerating. Harera
I've never caught a mouse with a fly… lol
Up herein western Canada, I've only ever caught a couple of cutts with a mouse fly.
Love the video we always talk about it when a nice plague is on
Nice video Mark 🎣👍. I've never tried mouse patterns trout, only for Pike & Bass.
Great video guys ! I occasionally work mice here in the Catskills, but never in daylight, gotta give this a try ! Tight lines
Awesome video great action. Fantastic footage
I thought brown trout weren’t natives to the USA?
I didn't see one 'big' brown in the entire video. They were all tiny.
Would someone please teach this guy how to pronounce Trout…lol.
I had know idea that small of fish will eat a mouse.
Love the video, the mouse fly seems exciting to fish.
"….not doing these fish any harm…." Ya, just let him flop around on the rocks, then hold him out of the water afterwards just to get a hero shot. The deeper water where you let him go should have been where you took out the hook. C'mon guys…🤷🙄
Brown arent native in the US 😬 i think you meant wild but its all good
