What set up did you use and bait? I got a buffalo I need to catch that had a 40 minute fight on 4lb test and hit a minnow which was weird.

question. what kind of rigs was used or is your rig of choice for buffalo? I can't seem to get a wild buffalo to go and take off with anything I throw.
I am curious if carp is an invasive species why did you guys release them. Whenever I catch them I either give them away or kill them. Its against the law to release them where I live
do you use 30 or more braid line for this.

Good to see you fellas using slings and unhooking mats. If you don't mind me adding these few pointers; before lifting the fish at any point, either in the landing net or sling, please check that its pectoral fins are tight back against its body by running your hand along them. Damaged pecs do happen easily. Also, please put the fish in the shade of the tree, they have no eyelids and like humans, can suffer eye damage from having its eye facing up at a burning Texan sun. Lastly, soak the sling and unhooking mat with water to protect the fish's slime. Hope you don't mind me saying and well done on the capture.
