What about working faster or slower
So basically it is just like my go to catfish rig with a red bead…
is this good to fish in rocky bottom?, the weight and sometimes hook gets stuck in small rocks and snapped.
I’m wanting to learn this technique and try, but I hope I don’t have a bass swallow the entire hook while learning how to get a feel for the bite. Great video
Never fishied a carolina rig never new how until your video on how to rig it… Cant wait to hit the river 2maro and try it out
Go dawgs
Two minute penalty
Hey Gene, that looks like Clarks Hill. You can catch big ones out of it brother! My dad has an 8 pounder hanging on his wall that came from it that was caught on a Smithwick Devils Horse.
Nice dude…
A lot of times when fishing with the Carolina Rig the Bass will pin it to the bottom and you'll think your hung up if it's a good sized fish
What Size weight do you use when fishing with the Carolina Rig, I thought maybe a half ounce would be a good starting weight for a sinker.
what rod and reel are you using?
I am a new fisherman and learning a lot from your channel. going out tomorrow to a place that has a good history with Carolina rigs. Thanks for the info and the hookset. I would've done just like when using Texas rigs and crankbaits.
When a bass bites the carolina rig, how would you know if it's actually a bite or a snag, because I have heard that you can't feel the bass bite on a carolina rig, or something like that.
Caught 2 bass today in-less then a hour on a Carolina rig with a black finesse zoom worm ^_^
one was 11 inch and the other was 13 inch
Thanks for your videos sir! Hooked my first bass two weeks ago from your tips! Now sharing with others! Oh, and mama is mad because of my new obsession!
Can you use a Carolina rig for salt water
Caught a 7.8 lber on this rig yesterday! Was using a christie critter!
You should know how helpful these videos are even years later. Thanks
I think this was a great vid! Im a noob to fishing. As soon a i thought about some thing you talked about it. And the what does a bite feel like at the end was a question i had and you covered it. Great stuff. Subbed
Really good video
Can you show how the hook actually sits in the worm?
Hi
I like using the carolina rig but is there ever a need to use a float? When should I use a float? thanks.
The hookset that you demonstrated was HUGE in helping me ACTUALLY catch a couple nice bass. Caught two of them tonight, and I wouldn't have known what to do with a Carolina rig if it wasn't for this video! Thank you SO MUCH!
I use a 1/2 or 3/4 ounce bullet weight with a 2-3 foot leader and when I cast it, it sounds like a boulder just rolled off a cliff and hit the water. Is it okay that the rig makes such a splash. or is there a way to minimize splash down? I mostly cast sitting from a kayak
Nice, helpful
