Hello and welcome to Local Marks Fishing!!

This is a truly outstanding live session! After receiving some local knowledge about the fishing in the area it was decided to put the info into action! Armed with squid, mackerel and crab baits we head down to western shore in Southampton! There’s also a couple of ragworm left over from the previous session. The rigs used on this occasion are a pully pennel and a 2 hook loop rig. All of the above baits are used except the worm in the early hours of the tide. It takes some time for a bite to develop and it’s only after switching to squid tipped worm baits that we get to see a fish! Things really turn on at high tide with the rod tips going mental! The final tally turns out to be 3 whiting and a single school bass! Expectations had been extremely high and the level of excitement amongst everyone in the live chat was awesome! This live feed was particularly memorable due to the mind blowing support shown by everyone as we head into the last of the Christmas days. I was speechless after seeing how much the channel means to so many. It’s so incredibly humbling to see so many people coming together to simply enjoy the sessions for what they are.
