I recently went to Academy and searched out Bluegill pattern baits. I picked up a grass hero swim jig, a click bait, a zinger, clutch, and a mini banger. Could not find a hummer. Then I picked up an MTB PRO and low and behold, there was a Bluegill Hummer, on the very top, inside. Soooooooo challenge made.
Gonna try it next chance I get.

I've had several days where I was wondering if every bait I was throwing had hooks bc couldn't keep em pinned to save my life. It made me want to throw all my gear in the pond and give up forever but went back a day or 2 later and caught 5 or 6 and even caught one on a spinnerbait that kept getting spit days b4. Keep up the awesome work

I'm not sure the color thing makes sense. You mean ro tell me the fish see your lure, eat it, and the spit it because it wasn't the right color? It's already in there mouth at that point, they are no longer looking at the potential false meal. Maybe the hooks were bad. I honestly can't see something committing to the bite then saying "was that the right color?"
