I experienced this in the severest way during my employment at call centers at Wellpoint aka Anthem Inc aka Elevance Health, UC Health, Gusto and Sharecare and Orthopedic Specialist office in state of Colorado. It has caused me severe ptsd and failing physical health to the point I am unable to work and have been forced into homelessness and relying financially on government assistance.
This is very common in the United States
What about not letting you take your earned leaves! most of the companies won't even payout the expired leave balances…manager will have a panic attack if one asks for a fullweak vacation leave even if they plan well ahead…
People end up wasting most of their earned leaves…we should be able to sue the companies for these reasons…

Well, the employees under Indiapost face things like these everyday. I am utterly disgusted with the behaviours of the inspectors. He asked my brother to provide updates on delivery in the evening and when he said he doesn't have the list at the moment and that's that. It is hardly possible to believe what kind of situation he must have to face at work.

Just to save their work position, few hr guys succumb to wrong dictate of bosses or mislead bosses. In fact, biggest toxic spreaders are HR people. Yes, luckily 20% HR are best employees care takers.Specially hotel worker had to smell really toxicin

Putting employees down, insulting, punishing, torturing, discouraging and mistreating them is the norm of many companies. It's not just because managers and directors want it do so to show power but also because employees not just accept it but also worship such managers and directors in order to show respect.
In other words, managers and directors treat employees like a 5-year-old kid along with abusing and torturing them and in return, employees keep showing respect to them and suppress and oppress those that speak against it. That's the reason, especially in India, toxic work culture flourishes at many companies.
And that's also the reason why Indian companies fail to compete at global scale because employees can't be creative under such toxicity.

The SILENT crooks are more deadly than the visible ones. By this I mean, when one cant prove a thing about these crooks in offices. One can see that you are working in a non toxic organisation.
Indian work culture is the worst in Indian IT companies i have experienced..behaved like parasites for the past 9 years unnecessarily without any fault of mine..
excellent , i started my own company in hk 12 years ago , i m fine and feel much better now , working in a office was horrible for me
