Testing lure clear coats like an engineer
Clear coating lures can be a challenge just using one product. When you combine more than one you can really run into trouble. Here’s what I do to know just what to use and, more importantly, what not to use as an intermediate clear coat. I have been doing this ever since I got hooked on layering my paint effects between layers of clear. This gives the lure finish a depth that is really satisfying. But if you experiment as much as I do you will soon run into combinations that just turn to junk. If you do this simple experiment you can build your own knowledge base and know exactly how to avoid clear coat disasters.

I know you have used the UV clear over textured foil, and chrome, with good results,, what about over holographic foil tape?
The one with the pledge was it a win?
I'm not sure what happened to the gorilla glue clear, I have had very good results with it, you do not need to add water to it and it does take a long time to fully cure
Do you put polyurethane on then uv resin
Ever try clear top coat/base coat nail polish ?
Hi
Have you tried east coast straight over a resin poured bait as a sub coat (base coat)?

Im interested in your thoughts on the best initial sealer for big muskie balsa baits. Lot of different opinions. I ve thought about vaccuming it in a chamber with a minwax polyurethane/ mineral spirits blend. Thanks for all your videos and work to help.
Tell me please the number of your air brush? Magyver.
In conclusion, for you with your experience what is the best epoxy resin that you would recommend.
How do you spray polyachrylic through airbrush? Do you have a vid?

always good knowledge. not everything plays well with each other. I actually had that written on a report card when I was little. "does not play well with others".
