I hope this channel is still being looked after!!! I fish ALOT!!! and have had sturgeon take bait, naturally I didn't take the time for photos and released them as soon as they were close enough for me to wade out a bit and set them loose, the biggest I caught was a little over 4 foot give or take fishing up near the Kootenai Falls/canyon area and further down past Troy in the eddy where my family lived when I was a kid, last catch was in 2018 that was the 4 footer bottom fishing the eddy with worms for trout, the ones in the canyon were in 2017 and caught them on worms and cut bait fishing for northern pike minnows (formerly known as squaw fish or squak fish) and trout during the spring run off, I really hope that these amazing fish make a full recovery, I did some work with the bonners ferry tribal hatchery tagging sturgeon in 2005-2006, truly incredible experience,
