Nice man, you can get them things a lot cheaper on Amazon.
I like it 😊
geebus H.R. christmas christ man , do some editing !!! Noone needs to see you spend half the video cutting a hole
that accent shivers
Best DIY video ever! Real problems and attempts at solutions that don’t always work. Just like real life. By being honest, you’ve given me the confidence to try this myself on my Jon boat. Thanks!
If I made one suggestion always have the doors open so when you are flying across the lake and bouncing make sure the lid will blow shutif its not latched. In this case if it jiggled open it might damage the hinges. I have a 1448 that I'm going to do similiar. good job.
Where can I get one of those gear tracks? Is that a cup holder on yours?
which box is the one u have? i tried to look on the website but didnt see exact ones…u have a great idea there tho…that website is very very expensive for alot of plastic lol smh…its crazy high price couldn't believe it…
Sweet man if you would of just cut a little more in towards the center they would of fit perfect
Like seeing the mistakes makes it real because we all do it
Great idea, good job sticking with it.
The STRUGGLE is real. The simple projects sometimes turn into a major undertaking 😂
I think I have the same model Jon. The HIN number on mine only has 9 digit's….does yours have the same or 12 like usual?
Good Video, folks please use safety glasses when doing any cutting you can see the metal flying
great video! I loved how you trial and error, i do same thing… if you had your perfect video setup I would have got bored :).
Yes take all that foam out of your boats so you’ll lose everything if you take on water. 😆
Where did you find those at?
Hell no those tubs are 159?
Nice! 👍
With this mod, does removing the foam affect the boat ?
Man that’s a great idea.
are those strong enough to sit on ?
Nice! Gotta have, only wish they werent white but I think some camo vinyl wrap will do the trick.
Is why didn't you just unscrew the screw from the bottom side with the vice script pliers instead of the top same principle just different side
Nice video. I recommend safety glasses though when cutting metal like that. ~from experience.
A good way to remove the foam floatation to make room for your storage box is to burn it out with a Bienzymatic propane torch.
Thank you for sharing.
Where'd you get the boxes
This is what I'm looking for! Great job.
Thanks for sharing, job well done, BUT wear your safety googles when you are using those power tools man, those aluminum shavings won't feel good when they fly into your eye and could lead to serious injury.
Great video, I just subscribed!
Making cost effective improvements to your boat is a challenge to most weekend warriors. kudos to you man, for a job well done.
Safety glasses ???
I was thinking about getting some of those until I saw the price..
Pilot holes are recommended. Always try one out (without the bezel) to see if the screws will work OK. Then you won't risk marring the bezel. Still a good video of how not to do it. It's ok as long as you learn from your mistakes. Trying and failing = learning. That's a good thing. That's how I learned.
Thanks for the "real" video because setbacks happen in every project! Keeping it real!
